Match the lot number
Match the lot number on the certificate to the lot field on the vial label. Check the product name and strength against the product record. If information is missing or the records differ, request clarification before using the certificate.
Review test methods and results
Each result should identify the test method. Certificates commonly list HPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for molecular identity. Check the units or acceptance criteria for each result and confirm that the certificate identifies the testing organisation.
Review each test separately
Identity, purity, endotoxin, sterility and elemental screening answer different questions, and a pass in one does not establish the others. Review only the tests listed. Do not infer an unlisted test from a general quality statement.
Retain the original certificate
File the original certificate with the receiving record, the vial label or a photograph of it, the delivery record and any correspondence about the lot.
Radian certificate information
No lot has been released, so no Radian certificate exists yet. Each certificate will be linked to one lot on the documentation page. It will include the lot number printed on the vial, the product name and strength, and the method and measured result for each test.
